01 / Your business, your numbers
Your inputs show what goes unanswered, what those opportunities could be worth, and how many jobs would cover Respond, the reply and follow-up system ($2,500 setup plus $500 a month).
An estimate based on your inputs, not a prediction of sales. Job values are revenue, before your costs.
One repair and one replacement can have very different values. See both scenarios without guessing a job mix.

The opportunity
Assumes unanswered leads would close at your usual rate. Actual results may differ.
A scenario to compare
First-year cost: . That's $2,500 setup plus 12 months at $500. This compares gross job revenue with the fee, not profit or a promised return.
Answered leads = leads × (1 − unanswered out of 10 ÷ 10). Jobs won = answered leads × your close rate. Possible missed jobs = unanswered leads × the same close rate. Each revenue scenario multiplies those jobs by one of your job values; the two are never added together.
Ad cost per lead = spend ÷ leads. Ad cost per job = spend ÷ jobs won. Proportional spend = spend × unanswered share. Zero denominators show no estimate. Break-even jobs = first-year fee ÷ job value, rounded up.
The optional Thumbtack scenario raises your close rate by 25%, capped at 100%, and applies it to all leads. It is available only when your usual reply takes a day or longer. Thumbtack's 2025 marketplace observation (opens in a new tab) is not a forecast for your business.
In a 2011 test of 2,241 US companies, 37% answered within an hour and 23% never answered. These are historical company response patterns, not a current benchmark for your trade.

No. The calculator works in your browser and shows the result immediately. Your email is only needed if you request a test.
No. The calculator uses your own close rate to estimate possible missed jobs. It assumes unanswered leads are similar to the leads you answer, which may not be true.
The test can confirm what's working. If you have no unanswered leads, the default calculator shows no unanswered-lead opportunity.
You get the findings first. If Respond is a fit, you can review the scope and price and decide whether to talk. There is no automatic enrollment.
