A photographer’s online portfolio is often the determining factor between who get’s an inquiry and who gets looked over. Wedding photos are meant to be cherished for a lifetime. And every bride-to-be wants to see some prior work before making that all important wedding day investment. This site does the portfolio thing right.

Project Summary

When I took on Ashley’s website redesign project, she wasn’t thrilled with what she was working with.

Her site was a bit basic for her tastes. Working in the backend of the site was clunky. And worst of all, there was no such thing as making changes quickly and efficiently. Something had to give. She was used to managing her website on her own and hadn’t considered hiring someone to help her out until we partnered up.

Ashley wanted to have more say-so and control over how she displayed her work. So that’s where I focussed my earliest efforts in the redesign. I built a series of custom layouts that fit her exact design specifications.

Now when Ashley wants to publish her work, she simply uploads her photos to a template and they display on the front-end in elegant fashion. Tasteful styling elements are spread throughout the site including beautiful font pairings, neutral colors, and plenty of white space.

All of these elements work together to make this site a clean and modern photography showcase. Ashley is a professional. Now she has a website that both reinforces that fact and solidifies her reputation as one of the best in the business.

Jon was a dream to work with! I had a ton of design desires for my new website and he was right there with me helping me create my dream website.

I anticipate reaching a wider audience with Jon’s help and believe I will impress future clients with this new and improved site. I would hire him again if I had to do it all over.
